Supporting My Whole Self Campaign by Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)
In line with our core values and our commitment to inclusion and diversity, we are proud to be supporting My Whole Self, Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England’s new campaign for workplace culture change.
During the current climate the My Whole Self campaign is calling for people to be empowered to show their whole self, wherever they are working from. In these unprecedented and challenging times, when people are feeling more vulnerable and isolated, organizations that promote wellbeing by providing a supportive, trustworthy and inclusive culture, will strengthen employee engagement, which is better for business. This helps us to feel more engaged, connected with each other while working remotely, to think bolder, find common ground, and work more effectively together.
This is backed up by Google’s landmark Aristotle study, which found that ‘psychological safety’ is one of five key elements that enables a team to excel. Teams that feel safe and connected work better together and to do this they need an environment and company culture that allows them to be authentic and show their whole self.
We would like to invite other organizations to support the My Whole Self Day on March 18 when people across the country will be encouraged to show their whole self to work and share a My Whole ‘Selfie’ on social media.
