Introduction to Derivatives

WHAT: A derivative is a file that is made from another 'Master File'. It shares derives its data and metadata from its Master. They are a bit like copies that don't use up space.

WHY: A derivative can be in a different format, resolution or a different crop. They are great for sharing as they give you more control over how you let others use your files.
