IMS supports uploads directly from the browser, using a Java Applet. IMS also includes support for FTP, for integration with a wide range of operating systems and existing workflows. As many FTP clients are specifically designed for ease-of-use, this provides an opportunity to use an existing technology base to full effect.

Installing the Upload Tool

The Upload Tool is a standard Windows application which is installed by double-clicking the application after it has been downloaded. It can be uninstalled at any time using the standard Windows software manager.

Once the application is installed, you will find it in your Start Menu.

Note: You may need to install the Microsoft .Net framework before the Uploader will function. If so, during installation you will see a message asking you to install .Net 2.0. Please click here to download the installation package for .Net.
