Centralized Digital Storage
One storage location
IMS stores all of your media in one central repository. This allows you to keep all of your assets together and to grant users or whole groups of users access to files as necessary. Not only does this mean that you can avoid wasting time searching for files in different locations but it also you'll know that they are all efficiently backed-up and catalogued, searchable and traceable.

IMS can be accessed from any web browser, meaning that if your organisation operates across multiple sites, everyone can have immediate access to your library.
Simple Uploads
Uploading a file to IMS can be done in one of three ways, allowing you to choose the method which best suits your workflow:
- From within the web browser itself;
- Using our intuitive Desktop Upload Tool for Windows;
- For more advanced users - via FTP.
All administrators can upload and can also grant uploading rights to other users of the system. If required, you can require administrator approval for uploads made by others. Documentation...
Downloading in the size and format you need
Downloads can be performed either through a single-click download button, or with our innovative IMS Download Wizard. IMS can either be configured to allow users to access downloads on demand, or only after a request has been approved by an administrator. IMS can also publish files as URLs that can be linked from anywhere, for example on your intranet or in email newsletters.
The Download Wizard automates common tasks. For example, it can crop images to the exact size required for different types of publication, or to your own preferred dimensions. The file's resolution and colour profile can be changed, including making the picture monochrome, and the file format can be varied, regardless of the original filetype. IMS can even convert images to PDF.
By performing these tasks before downloading the file, the Wizard saves time and avoids the need for complex graphics software or storing multiple copies of the same file. Documentation...
Automatically detect and process new uploads
Where users have been permitted to upload images to IMS, IMS can monitor itself for uploads and process them. For example, you can specify that all uploads from a certain user should be placed into a given album, provided that at least a caption and keywords are present. A sophisticated approvals process can be applied to ensure detailed information is provided with all submissions, too.
Expand your storage easily
IMS is easy to integrate into your existing networks and can grow incrementally in size. It is designed for very high levels of scala bility - tens of millions of images. IMS backup solutions can be run as often as required, including a complete copy of all images and data in the system. IMS can also integrate with virtually any backup service for enterprise installations.
