IMS Web Access
Online Galleries Of Your Pictures
Each album of images is displayed as a series of automatically generated thumbnails. Users can access a larger version of any image by clicking on the thumbnail. The gallery system only requires you to upload your pictures. The pages of thumbnails, previews, watermarked and black and white images are made automatically. IMS does this by deriving new images from your supplied pictures directly.
Underneath each picture is a menu which allows you to access high resolution sources or email photographs directly, as well as many other options. These features can be assigned to your users as privileges, allowing you professional control over use of your IMS service.
As well as being easy to set up, the albums can all be designed from your own preferred colour schemes, with the size and layout of the images being configurable. You can also change the captions to display descriptions, filenames, reference numbers - you choose.
Automated Picture Desks
IMS can be configured to act as a Picture Desk, accepting incoming photography by FTP and displaying a 'real time' list of new images. This mode also interacts with the search engine, providing a convenient pick up area for your latest photographs.
Collaborate using flexible access to your library
By storing your pictures centrally, IMS reduces the time spent sharing and approving images, making your business more competitive and effective. The system eliminates wasted time and duplication when images are lost or out of reach in another office.
Users are only able to access and view those images to which you have granted access. IMS offers different options in terms of how you are able to manage these access rights, so that the service can be tailored to your organisation.
IMS allows staff to take responsibility for keywording their own images, and our Desktop Tools make working from Windows easy and natural.
Working with Suppliers
Taking an example, you might want to give a printing supplier access to the source graphics for an annual report. Sending a CD-ROM is slow and means you lose track of your files. Alternatively, with IMS the image is available immediately, giving the supplier direct, traceable access to the latest data.
