Easy, convenient and intuitive browser interface

Each collection of files is displayed as a series of automatically generated thumbnails. Users can access a larger version of any file by clicking on the thumbnail. The pages of thumbnails, previews, watermarked and black and white images are made automatically (IMS does this by deriving new images from your supplied pictures directly).

Alongside each file is a menu which allows you to access high resolution sources or email the media directly, as well as many other options. Simply right-clicking provides even more detailed functions.

IMS folder structures are easy to set up, and can be customised to your own requirements. The size and layout of the media on screen are configurable. You can also change the captions to display descriptions, filenames, reference numbers - you choose. IMS also allows you to browse in a special timeline mode, where files are automatically sorted into albums of the years, months and days when they were created.

One storage location

IMS stores all of your media in one central repository. This allows you to keep all of your assets together and to grant users or whole groups of users access to files as necessary. Not only does this mean that you can avoid wasting time searching for files in different locations but it also you'll know that they are all efficiently backed-up and catalogued, searchable and traceable.

IMS can be accessed from any web browser, meaning that if your organisation operates across multiple sites, everyone can have immediate access to your library.

Secure, shared access

Users are only able to access and view those files to which you have granted them access. IMS offers different options in terms of how you are able to manage these access rights, so that the service can be tailored to your organisation. Departmental groups can easily be created, with control over just their part of the system for example.

Logins to IMS can be encrypted using SSL technology or, if required, the entire site can run on a secure (HTTPS) webserver. IMS allows you to require your users to change their passwords regularly and to set minimum levels for password quality. Look, feel and content entirely customisable

The user view of IMS is entirely customisable. At the simplest level, you can simply use the intuitive branding tool to change the colour scheme of the site and upload a new logo image. IMS also makes the underlying templates available for experienced web designers to make IMS look just as you want.
