Automated Printing via PhotoBox™

Third Light has partnered with PhotoBox™, one of the UK's most experienced digital printing labs, to provide IMS customers with a fully integrated printing and delivery service. IMS allows you to sell any PhotoBox™ product including prints and gifts. You remain in control of the prices that you offer to your customers.

The fast turnaround that PhotoBox™ offers - prints normally arriving the next working day if your client is in the UK - reflects well on your business and helps to generate more repeat orders. The delivery notes and packaging sent with each order can be branded with your company logos and text. At the end of each month we return your profits to you directly, minus a handling charge.

If a customer buys an image and the high resolution sources are not available from IMS, the system will alert you so that you can provide the files on demand - the order is then processed as normal.

Whether you sell ten prints or ten thousand prints, the whole process is automated, day and night, and best of all the packing and invoice documentation can be customised to suit your brand. This is a unique opportunity that only Third Light can provide.

In-House Print Processing

IMS supports in-house printing using Custom Products, so that you can offer all the power of the Third Light shopping basket to your clients, but still manufacture the prints or other photo products yourself.

Custom Products can have attribute lists, such as colours, finishes or cropping preferences. Also, IMS can correctly present the print size in the basket using dimensions settings. As a front-end to in-house print sales, IMS is exceptionally powerful, and can offer price breaks as well as giving you the flexibility to assign different product prices to different galleries.

Electronic Download Licencing

IMS has the ability to sell your photographic image data online with licenced downloads. It provides the complete e-commerce functionality required for you to easily market and sell your images over the internet, including card handling and image licencing systems. IMS allows a buyer to select the appropriate licences from your site for their intended usage, and pay for the licence with a credit card or on account if appropriate. Once the payment has been authorised, the order is fulfilled automatically using your stored image data.

Managing Your Sales

IMS brings together financial reports and management tools for both print and licencing sales, under a single easy to use web console.

Reports are provided that allow you to analyse the print and download sales from your IMS site, as well view the status of any individual order. You can define multiple price plans for different events or users, and even break down income to different categories known as subvendors. A spreadsheet export feature allows financial data to be quickly exported for further analysis.

If you choose to use our card handling or the automated PhotoBox printing service, Third Light only charges you a small percentage of your sales to cover card handling charges - and nothing for sales on invoice. We return your profits via a UK bank transfer - or PayPal for international clients - once a month.
