Third Light is a digital asset management software business based in Cambridge, UK. We produce innovative products for storing, managing and retrieving digital media in a searchable, shared database solution.

Third Light was founded in 2002 by Cambridge University engineering graduates, Michael Wells and Ben Holland. The business maintains strong connections with the academic and entrepreneurial culture of the University, with a focus on innovation and creative thinking.

Our core product, Intelligent Media Server, is a digital asset management solution for business users. Our software centralizes your digital media in a convenient, shared library. It offers intelligent sharing features to free your time, with an intuitive interface to simplify search and retrieval tasks.

Third Light has over 400 clients around the world in sectors as diverse as education to sport and not-for-profits to large corporations - all with a common goal to better manage and utilize valuable digital resources.
